Guntur Branch Participated in CEC Meeting of AICEIA at Dehradun
Dear Comrades,
Central Executive Committee (CEC) Meeting of All India Central Excise Inspector's Association (AICEIA) was held at Dehradun on 14th and 15th of April, 2017. Minutes of meeting (Biennail Convention) held at Shillong were ratified by the house. Action Taken Report (ATR) and Statement of Accounts were presented by Comrade Abhishek Kamal, Secretary General, AICEIA.
Comrade V.V.Krishna Prasad, Joint Secretary and R.P.P.Kumar, General Secretary of Guntur Branch of AICEIA represented our Branch. Points were sponsored by our branch as suggested and submitted by our members.
Some of the main issues discussed at CEC were:-
As proposed by the National Body and passed by the house, the next CEC meeting has been converted to Convention and will be hosted by Mumbai Branch of AICEIA and the dates will be announced by the end of May.

- Role of Inspectors in GST Regime, as there is no mention of proper role of Inspectors in the proposed GST Law
- Uniform implementation of the Judgement in the case of Union of India vs N R Parmar to re-fix the seniority
- Finalisation of Recruitment Rule for the post of Superintendent
- One time relaxation to fill all the vacant post of Superintendent before rolling out of GST
- Implementation of All India Seniority of Central Excise Inspectors
- Uniform Policy on Inter Zonal Transfer (IZT)
- Well defined ICT Policy without loss of seniority in accordance with DOP&T OM
- Bunching of pay as per the instructions contained in Seventh Pay Commission Report and Department of Expenditure's OM dt.07.09.2016
- Abolition of Uniform, Protocol & Control Room Duties
