minutes of the meeting held on 9th January 2016.
Executive body meeting was held on 9th Jan 2016 from 11.30 hrs to 13.30 hrs at Conference Hall of Central Excise Hqrs.Office, Guntur.
Meeting was attended by
S/Shri Ch.Jasper Sugand, President,
G Srinivasa Reddy, Vice President,
G Ananda Hari Gopal, General Secretary,
Md.Aslam Usmani, CPC JCM member,
Ch.Eswar, Guntur Hqrs.Unit Secretary
V.V.KrishnaPrasad, Guntur Hqrs Treasurer,
S.V.Subba Rao, CPC Unit Treasurer &
G Hema Venunadh, KKD Port Unit Treasurer.
The meeting which was scheduled at 10.30 hrs was postponed by an hour by President in view to give time to executive members coming from distant places and to strengthen the coram required for taking decision of pending issues of last meeting.
The meeting started with brief discussion on 7th CPC pay parity when compared to CBI inspectors and Fedrations action taken on this issue among other points such as uniform and control room duties.
Decision on creation of Assistant General Secretary post as demanded by members of Nellore Commissionerate could be taken again. However, Vice President was of opinion that it was not at all the opinion of Nellore Commissionerate except for the demand from a single member and hence can However, General Secretary requested the president that the issue shall be postponed for next meeting and shall be decided as the issue was on records for discussion. Also informed unit secretaries and treasurers who attended the meeting to take authorisations from the members before 15th Jan 2016 and attach the same to the letter addressed to the DDOs for deduction of Annual Subscription of Central Excise Inspectors Association as DDOs start paybills from 15th of the month.
He further requested executive body to make themselves available for meetings on second saturdays to discuss the issues for betterment of our fraternity and to give strength to the body to take bold decision. If the body doesn't meet we are scattered and can't make decisions for our members and help them for the reasons we are elected for. He further informed President that some executive members expressed that they being alone at their respective formations they were ready to vote through whatsup in the group meant for executive members and the same was accepted.
But even then the coram was not sufficient to take the decisions as the members who were expected to come didnt turnup. Hence the points pending decision were postponed for next meeting.
